Ninja Gaiden II by Tecmo, originally for the NES now on the Wii's Virtual Console - Image 1Ninjas, giant robots, and a Hunting Dog round out this week's offerings for North America's Virtual Console on the Wii. We've got Ryo Hayabusa jumping from the shadows of the NES system, in Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword (a prequel to the Xbox 360's Ninja Gaiden 2 and the PlayStation 3's Ninja Gaiden: Sigma). Face off against  Ashtar and the Sword of Chaos, even as you master moves like the Fire Wheel or the Windmill Throwing Star. Expect this shinobi classic to cost you 500 Wii Points.

Or if you're feeling up to something with more metal, we're also announcing the appearance of Metal Marines by Namco originally for the SNES system. Pilot a 93-plus ton mecha in this Real-Time Strategy title, and see how your strategic skills match up to the likes of General Zorgeuf and the Imperial Federation. Metal Marines will go for 800 Wii Points.

And finally, we've got Gate of Thunder by Hudson Soft originally for the TurboGrafx16 system. Take on the role of special undercover agent Hawk and his spaceship the Hunting Dog in this side-scrolling shooter, as you face off against General Don Jingi and the Obellon army. Expect Gate of Thunder to come flying in at 800 Wii Points.
