Last week, we reported on Nintendo trying to gain online market by signing up Opera software. Every newcomer should be keen on doing so right? Well, we thought so too. However, the latest statement from Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime is not helping their cause.Fils-Aime suggested NOA hasn't decided yet what will happen with the browser. "In fairness, for the Americas, we haven't made the business decision for how and what we're going to do with the browser." He stresses though that they recognize the fact that for most gamers, a browser nowadays is pretty standard. PS3 and X360 both have got their own.
Fils-Aime then follows up with this statement: "The concept of charging a significant amount of Wii points to get the browser is somewhat challenging." Sadly, one can't help but think thoughts of making the browser not free at all is in their business-centered minds. All are just mere interpretations now but we hope Nintendo soon clears things up.
