Metroid Prime for the DS...coming soon on Wii. - Image 1With rumors of a Wii drought coming up, Nintendo challenges Games Radar, presenting the game developer's "great" software lineup for 2007. There are enough titles, Nintendo says, to keep you gamers interested on the Wii. How could anyone claim the Wii is just a gimmick?

Nintendo pointed out that just 4 months after the release of its next-gen console, the total library of Wii games already amounts to 35. Some of the titles launched by Nintendo on the first quarter include WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Excite Truck, and Kororinpa. There's also a host of third party games launching: Sonic and The Secret Rings, SSX Blur, and Tiger Woods PGA Tour.

Nintendo further elaborates that there is also an expanding library of Virtual Console games, bringing the total library to a count of 55 downloadable games as of February 23, when The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time also launched. Nintendo reminds everyone that Metroid Prime 3 and Mario Galaxy are still in the lineup this year: you know what that means, fan kids, there's still a lot to look forward to with the Wii this year!

Nintendo says it's been keeping busy, also, by launching the News Channel and Everybody Votes Channel. Now whoever said Ninty's in a drought?

» MS said they like wii, they pay g4 to say that wii is a gimmick.

just a guess, MS said they like it to get people to agree just to later get people to turn on the wii.

but everyone who buys the wii already know what to expect, despicable marketing stretegy of MS if what i said is true.

While we are on the topic ps3 is 100 dollar more than 360, core is far to incomplete to be considered it as a starter.

MS people are using cheap shot tactic at this generation to take on competition.
