Sorry, DJ Hero, no DJ Tiesto for you. The superstar DJ has just debunked rumors linking him to Activision's so-far-unconfirmed DJ Hero title.
The following statement was included in the latest issue of DJ Tiesto's newsletter:
There has been a lot of talk concerning an alleged quote from Tiesto about being involved in Activision's possible DJ Hero video game.
This information was based on a fictitious news items, posted on a third party online forum. After the blogger posted the news item, falsely claiming that it was taken from a Tiesto newsletter, the quote was picked up on numerous websites and appeared in various articles, creating the impressions that it had come from an official source.
Tiesto has never given a quote regarding DJ Hero.
Well, it's not really an outright denial per se, but I suggest fans hold off on the orgasmic emotions for now. Keep checking back here for more details.
