Nintendo's Wii Strap Swap scheme is a go in Europe

Gamers in Europe who have encountered problems with their Wii straps can now turn them in and have them replaced with thicker and sturdier wrist straps.

All you need in order to lessen the chances of getting your Wiimote stuck in a wall or someone's eye is give Nintendo a couple of personal details and your console serial number. In return, you get up to four new wrist straps and that warm fuzzy feeling that comes with knowing that the chances of you hurting someone while playing Wii Sports have just been lessened.

Since some Wii consoles, particularly those that shipped in early December, already came with the new straps, you've got to check first if your Wii has the old or the new version. To see the difference between the two, check out the image below. When you determine that you have the old version, head right on over to the Replacement Request Form page at the Nintendo UK website.

» IT what??

Yeah... student.

That's the key word, child. Student.

What do you know anyway...Mr. I'm Sneaky-And-Use-FakeIP.

Are you "teh leet" becuase you know how to mask your IP? What are you, a first year tech school loser? You know that when they teach air conditioning repair across the hall from TCP/IP 101 that your "tech school" is for trailer-park-livin'-hillbillies.

Also, I guess you are even more leet, because you troll public forums and post nonsense.

My hat goes off to you , Mr. McDork, Mr. Loser- TechSchool- Noob!

I laughed so hard, not at the wittiness of your, oh-so-Matrix-like ninja hacking skills, but at your dumb ass stupidity.

Go back to class fool....

» They Should Have,

straps or buckles that go firmly around the wrist and a thick band or cord. Also that little piece of plastic that the cord goes around on the wiimote is way too thin. It seems like they need to have a thicker one because I know myself would really thrash this controller around if I am into a good game. Just a thought.
