Nintendo Wii on November 6th?

MarioYeah Yeah. We've been speculating on the Wii so much that if it launches at any time between October and November, we'll be right in at least on prediction... BUT, this one is a little more concrete than the last few posts and I think it just might be close to what we'll get. An insider who's apparently close to Nintendo told a fansite that Nintendo is currently looking at launching on November 6th. In North America, it will be released "well in time for Thanksgiving and well in time for Christmas in Europe". That's the US Thanksgiving, not Canadian. Otherwise we'd have it before October 9th!

This would be very beneficial for Nintendo. It would allow them to launch before the PlayStation 3 while launching just before the holiday rush. Like the Nintendo DS in 2004 and Xbox 360 in 2005, Wii is going to try and become the most sought after item of Christmas 2006.
