WiiQuite frankly now, we really do not know what is up with Nintendo UK and Nintendo of America. Remember, the Virtual Console lock up rumor that made the two contradict each other? Things got so messed up the company's big bosses in Japan needed to intervene and put an end to the issue. Well, the two major division are at it again. The issue, should you want to know, is about Wii component cables.

NOA admitted a few days ago, fans would be forced to buy the progressive-scan capable accessory off the internet alone. Today, in a rather amusing statement, the case isn't the same over there. "At present in the UK, we plan to sell Wii accessories through the normal retail channels," according to the statement.

In a consolidated statement before, Nintendo confirmed that it would be supporting 480p resolution while competitors Sony and Microsoft try to knock each other off the high definition wagon.
