September 14 is the date to watch out for by Wii fans. It is said that Nintendo are planning a hands-on experience with the Wii on the said day in New York City. The event is set to showcase various games for the firm's upcoming next-gen console, and, as rumor would have it, reveal the much-awaited launch date and price.
As of now, all are but speculations regarding the said event, but for sure, the event will be hosted by Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime. We'll make sure to keep you posted on further details, and hopefully, more information will be announced by Nintendo soon.

Date and price WILL be announced in September. Nnintendo already confirmed that. So the title of this article is... stupid.
Seeing that they aren't going to be at tokyo game show I think they should Launch that day! Think about it what a perfect solution to take away Sony's thunder for they are planing on releaseing the "Secret" about PS3 at the Tokyo show.... So instead of everyone heading to the TGS they will be going out to a retail store and picking up a Wii
