Nintendo to do something about Wiimote accidents |
Ó
Sick of news regarding wiidiots and wiitards throwing their Wiimotes at their wii..er, their furniture? (Sorry too much Wii-ing) Well apparently, so is Nintendo. Much to the delight of abused and endangered living room furniture and electronics, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has assured that they are considering new ways to cut down the number of Wii-related accidents.Apparently, a safety-advisory isn't enough. At the Foreign Correspondents Club this week, Iwata said this: "Some people are getting a lot more excited than we'd expected. We need to better communicate to people how to deal with Wii as a new form of entertainment."
Nintendo better understand that some people are just too easily-excited. There's a reason why straight jackets were invented: some people are just to dangerous to be entrusted the responsibility of ensuring their own personal safety, and the safety of others.
Wiitards (we are jesting with this amusing term, we do not mean any purposeful harm or insult) number in the thousands, better straps should do the trick. You can't reason or communicate with the easily-excited (child-like-older-people) and the sugar induced (people-like-young-kids).
