Nintendo to core gamers: 'We will be announcing several new titles' at E3 - Image 1

Nintendo started off this year with a bang that lasted months when they released blockbuster hit after blockbuster hit. Games such as Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, and Wii Fit all had their time in the limelight.

After these games though, Nintendo's been pretty quiet for a while now, opting to lie low. Not for long though. According to Marc Franklin, director of public relations at Nintendo, they will be announcing several new titles "that core gamers will be interested in."

When will they announce these titles? At E3 next month of course. Perhaps we can expect them to finally confirm the rumors about the Kid Icarus sequel? Perhaps more news on the recently announced Mario Super Sluggers? We'll have to wait till E3 to find out.

» Awesome.

There's some good news. Maybe some Star Fox and F-Zero, and maybe even a new Zelda...looking forward to the future of all three consoles and their upcoming releases! MGS4 was great, so I hope Sony can do the same with some of their other big titles soon. As for Microsoft, I hope they start pulling out some big names soon, not that I can't keep myself busy with Devil May Cry 4...poor game, it's been neglected due to lack of time. XD
