Nintendo sends important email about European Club Nintendo accounts |
Ó
Heads up, Nintendo fans from Europe: Nintendo of Europe (NOE) just sent out emails regarding the changes on privacy protection guidelines for your Club Nintendo accounts. You are required to accept the new guidelines stated on the email on or before July 15; non-compliance will result in getting your Club Nintendo accounts canceled.
If for some reason you do not agree with the new policies, you can still spend the Stars you have gained from Virtual Console purchases until account deletion on July 25. The reason behind this is that they need your explicit approval in using your personal data in order for them to carry out transactions with you.
If you don't check your email often, now would be a good time to do so.

I haven't recieved an email, there's nothing on the website and the link given seems to point to a German section of the Nintendo Europe site but I can't get it to work. I wonder where this has come from? My best guess is that someone has been sending out phishing emails to steal stars.
