We reported earlier that Nintendo has made an alliance with Sega and Hudson Games to allow for a number of their console games to be downloaded to the gamers Revolution. Now gamers can then enjoy these classics again on their brand new Revolution console for a small fee.

In an update to our recent post, Nintendo has confirmed that the PC-Engline / TurboGrafx CD-ROM2 games will also be available for play on the Nintendo Revolutions Virtual Console. Digital distribution seems to be a great way for developers to reclaim a few extra dollars on old video games, and for some gamers to be able to replay a piece of retro heaven Will more developers jump on the Nintendo Virtual Console bandwagon... it seems that only time will tell.

i already have all the nes snes and genesis collections on my xbox and they play beautifully on my hdtv.. not ot mention i have the complete mame set as well.. it is good to see these being available legally though.. if only companies were smarter and offered older games earlier on for affordable prices the mod scene on the xbox would not have been so popular.
