The Nintendo Revolution will support various storage options. Nintendo's Satoru Iwata said that any storage method can be used with the Revolution's USB ports.

Since the console is not going to have an internal hard drive, the 512MB flash memory and the SD memory card support will act as storage. With this kind of system, users of the console will be able to choose what kind of storage would be better and cheaper to use. This will seem very helpful since there will be a multitude of classic Nintendo titles as well as new ones.
