Nintendo reveals more Wii Chess details |

Last August, we reported that Nintendo would be bringing the classic strategy game of chess to the Nintendo Wii. Dubbed Wii Chess, Nintendo has some more details for you avid European electronic chessmasters out there.For starters, Nintendo's Wii Chess for Wii will offer the following features: local multiplayer, online play options and several game modes. Nintendo has set the price for the European version of Wii Chess at around US$29.99.
Wii Chess has been scheduled for commercial release in Europe on January 18, 2008. The US version of Wii Chess, on the other hand, is expected to ship sometime during the first quarter of 2008. To date, Nintendo has not yet released any details of the US version of the game. Stay tuned for more updates as we get them, though.

So....u just make a list of PS3 only games that are worth 2mins....wait no I will lets see.....OH theres that God of war rip off Heavenly sword and that Lara croft rip off Uncharted, Lair is a lot like Panzer Dragoon.....Resistance Fall of man....well just another shooter but kinda interesting....and well any thing else??

Although I would love to say “great” to wii for having another game. The best and only good game that wii has is wii sport, the rest are either just mediocre or wasting wii's motion sensor in one way or another. Unless they do better than online chess which can already be found online, they will really go downhill soon. If you want to use mario galaxy as an argument, sry that game was sold mainly by name and curiosity rather than content. For me, I'd rather hold the pieces and play rather than pointing spaces without being able to see the opponent.
Point taken. They could add something new to the game to make it stand out from the standard chess.
