Nintendo Power spills Battalion Wars 2 release date |

Get ready to spit-shine your boots and buck up, soldier. Nintendo Power has earmarked September 24, 2007 as the release date of the anticipated Nintendo Wii game Battalion Wars 2. At the left is the scan that reveals it.The month of September was originally revealed without a specific date in a Nintendo press conference until GoNintendo user Sithmaster 15 presented the scan and it got us all riled up.
If you haven't heard of the game before, now's a good time to pay attention. The first Battalion Wars came out in the GameCube and had a good following. It's a comic-style drawn military combat game with a mission-based gameplay style. Not that much has been revealed about the Nintendo Wii sequel, but a hands-on demo was given in Germany back in August and the word is that Battalion Wars 2 seems bigger and better than the original. We'll keep you posted for more.
