Nintendo plans to phased out Wii Speak |

Nintendo is planning to phased out Wii Speak, the microphone accessory for the console that allows players to hold online voice chats over the internet, unless "consumers demand increases."
The company said that the peripheral is now only available "at limited retail locations" across the country, but they could bring it back if consumers demand for it.
As an alternative, the company suggested gamers to use other "performance designed products" like the Headbanger Headset for voice chat during online games. Nintendo said that peripheral will continue to be available for the Wii and will work with such games as Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops and Sega's Conduit 2.
As for the Wii Speak Channel, Nintendo was tight-lipped at the moment and only said, "we have nothing to announce regarding the future of this channel, and it currently is being enjoyed by many gamers."

I brought the Wii Speak then my Wii died and I got it replaced at a cheap shop, then N said I cant have the channel as I didn't buy my console from them.
If thats their way of thinking then let the console die as they don't care about it, all they care about is money. And they will get no money from me.
