Nintendo has not confimed a release date for its next-gen console, but we have already been informed that the Revolution will hit shops around Thanksgiving, which falls on the 23rd of November this year. That's months from now and it's getting you down, I know. So what you need is something to cheer you up, and the Official Nintendo Magazine (ONM) might just make that happen (see scan). On sale on October 27 (a specific date, at last!) the 10th issue of ONM will contain reviews of the Revolution launch line-up. That's 20 reviews to tide you over until you actually see, touch, feel, and play the console. Waiting is such sweet sorrow...

does this mean it's coming out on October? or is it just and issue of the magazine that's out on october? I hope it's out during the summer though, that'd be cool.

I'd assume this isn;t the USA's official magazine, since that one is called Nintendo Power. But, it doesn't mean the release is eariler or later, it just shows that (the magazine being official and all) will have access to the revolution to review the games. The system may still have to wait til November, as production can delay stuff, or it could be done eariler and those are reviews after launch.

Time will tell kiddies.
