The Leipzig Games Convention starts on August 23rd and Nintendo will be appearing. Not only that, they'll have their own little conference! It's entitled "Wii Prove Our Promise." A very bold claim by Nintendo that I hope becomes true. New information is hoped for at this conference as a Space World has not been announced yet. Nintendo will not be at TGS, so unless they have their own little party planned, this may be the last expo before the Wii launches! Stay with us for any info that comes up. Meanwhile, leave your comments as to what you think we can expect from this very intriguing "Wii prove our promise".

*sigh*...unregistered childish nerds should not be allowed to even view these things...anyway...this is exciting information. We really should be expecting a price/date drop here if 10/02 is a legit possibility for release, retailers have to know what kind of product to be expecting have time to prepare for it. Sounds pretty exciting!

Maybe Nintendo didn't go to the Tokyo Game Show because it was too late?
That is a very good point. Maybe if they went to TGS it would be to late for them. I'm still hoping for a late september early november launch though.

Its gaurenteed to be out in November no matter what. Early november idealy. If this expo is Aug23 it could be hard to have it secretley shipped out world wide, in stores and everything in a week... Stores need more notice
prove me wrong tho. Getting a Wii hopefully on release ^_^
