New Super Ballin' Monkeys in Banana Blitz |
In addition to the new mini-games and a new control scheme (you can jump now!) for the Wii's Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, the game will also be having two new super ballin' monkey friends. Fellas, it's our pleasure to introduce to you Doctor and YanYan, the new monkeys who will be making their way into the Wii game.
Doctor, the mysterious, amnesia-stricken old monkey, found his way to Monkey Island from an unknown origin. No one has even bothered asking him where he came from as he can't even remember his own name. But, he is a smart inventor and is well-liked by the islanders, who all know him as Doctor.
Doctor has the highest acceleration out of the whole monkey gang, but this is believed to be due to a speed contraption he invented. Doctor's jumping skills are a bit, well, jumpy, due to his old age, but with his speed and fun character background, he's still fun to play with.
A bit lower down the age bracket is YanYan, a young girl who recently moved near AiAiÂ’s neighborhood. YanYan is a fearless feisty character, which we can probably attribute to the fact that she has mastered the mightiest
Monkey martial art of pugilism, Hachi-en-Ken.
If Doctor stands out with his speed, YanYan on the other hand does the same by being the highest jumper in the group. Don't let her small size fool you 'coz with her energy level up the charts, she can jump to heights that are unreachable to others. Just don't ask her to do so when AiAi's around as YanYan has a huge crush on him and gets very shy when he's around.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz is scheduled for release November 17th. We'll keep you posted for more updates.
