What we have for you today is another magazine scan of upcoming video game NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. Sega already mentioned before that fans in North America should be getting the title by October while those living in Japan will have it before the year ends.Journey of Dreams remains faithful to the original NiGHTS title released on Sega Saturn back in 1996. It still has that heart-warming storyline which features the character NiGHTS and the world of Nightopia.
In the first game, the Nightmaren (which are nightmare beings) came to Nightopia to wreck havoc. Journey of Dreams goes along the same plot. In terms of gameplay, players will need to perform a lot of flying, acrobatic tricks, as well as other special abilities.
There are "masks" available to NiGHTS which transform the purple androgynous being into a dragon and a dolphin among others. All of these, of course, will be performed using the Wiimote-Nunchuk combination. Sega also said that NiGHTS will have online features that will directly affect the title's seven dream worlds.
One such example is that the settings for each world can be changed according to real-world seasons using the Forecast Channel. Friends, furthermore, can exchanged items using WiiConnect24.
