Just because we have to wait till next year before Metroid Prime 3: Corruption hits the shelves, that doesn't mean we should be deprived of our fix of the weird-ass looking metroids, right?
Said to be the last installment of the Metroid Prime games, this is definitely something to look forward to especially in terms of graphics and gameplay. The delay in the game's release is reportedly due to graphical updates, so hopefully Retro brings us something that would justify this delay and make pounding metal asses look gooood.
However, a downside to the game is the lack of multiplayer function, but according to the creators, this is only because they prefer to focus more on the single-player experience, as they have previously done with the first Metroid Prime title.
Despite that, what we can anticipate is how the game will make use of the Wiimote and the WiiConnect24 -- perhaps downloadable levels and weapons? Heck, maybe they'll even get the multiplayer function to work! If we're probably willing to wait some more, that is. In the meantime, get your metroid fix from these screen we have for you. Enjoy!
