A new entry in Ubisoft's Ghost Recon franchise was confirmed in the company's recently-released financial documents along with target release windows for two more Ubisoft games.

Actual game details are still on the thin side, but the fourth Ghost Recon game is apparently being readied for release within Ubisoft's 2009-2010 fiscal period, which ends in March 2010.

The delay-addled Splinter Cell: Conviction (PC, Xbox 360) was also mentioned in the documents, this time rocking a Christmas 2009 release along with Red Steel 2. We'll see if it finally manages to make it to a target release date without any mishaps.

» YaY 4 ghost recon

20 player coop, 200+ AI opponents with tanks, helis, boats and even dogs in it. PLZ

plus what would be cool, is if ur teammate is dying on the floor and is getting fired at, u can drag ur teammate away 2 a safe spot and heal them there. rather than healing him where he is and just getting picked off.

It must've flown under my radar, but I seriously do not remember GRAW 3. Please tell me it wasn't HAWX.

» research won't hurt...

GRAW/GRAW2 is Ghost Recon 3 in the whole series. There is no GRAW 3. You also need to read the article properly, it says "Ghost Recon 4" not "Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 4".

» graw has 16 player coop...

adding 4 more ppl is not a big deal.

when u kill a bunch of guys, respawning more guys should not be past the ps3 limits.
