New fact sheet for CoD3 |
Ó
Although a date has yet to be announced for Call of Duty 3, there seems to be no reason why information should be kept from trickling in. We have here the new fact sheet for this action-packed narrative gameplay on the Normandy breakout, which paved the way for the liberation of Paris in World War II.The game promises to deliver a "living battlefield for an unprecedented variety of combat, with advanced high-definition graphics, detailed character animations and explosive on-screen action" to give you the most intensifying war experience you could ever have.
Coming out on both the PS3 and Wii, the key features for the game are as follows:
Battle Actions: With the all-new close-quarters battle mechanic, the players get to fight hand-to-hand, as well as improvise explosive devices, disarm traps and execute a whole lot of ass-whopping skills a la McGyver.
Branching Mission Paths: Maximizing the technologies offered by the next-gen consoles, the game will provide multiple attack routes, which enable players to confront the enemy the best way he knows how. The way you attack will entirely be left to your disgression, thereby ensuring that much-needed challenge for your tactical skills. Here, you will be exposed to unique mission paths, which may require you to engagte in various special tactics, such as sniping, demolition, and all-out head-on clashes.
Nowhere to Hide: It is important for one to keep his cover, especially when enemies are scurrying about, ready to take you down. This is what adds excitement to this game, because the geographic layout allows players to search and destroy the enemy's hideouts, thereby forcing them to spill out in the open like busted bugs. However, inasmuch as you can blow your enemy's cover, so can they do the same to you. But heck, it's better you get them first than them getting you.
Team-based Multiplayer with Vehicles: Up to 24 players can get to put their battle gears on online, thanks to the combined arms and team-based combat present. Here, you can also pick for yourself if you want to play as infantry or commandeer multiple-occupancy vehicles, such as tanks, jeeps, and motorcycles with sidecars, to name only a few. And then you can get into thoe mobile combat roles for that ultimate multiple player mayhem.
Call of Duty 3 also comes with soldier classes, whereby each class has specific abilities, as well as a ranking system for that utterly diversified squad combat.
So get ready to get to war, cause to the victor goes the spoils.
