If Reed Hastings had his way, his movie rental company's services would be spread out over all three seventh generation consoles. That's what the Netflix CEO told Reuters earlier this week.

"Eventually we want to be on all the game consoles, all the Blu-ray players, all the Internet TVs.  So we are working in parallel with all of those efforts," said Hastings, who also added that game consoles are among their top priorities for the movie watching service.

Still, Netflix has an exclusive deal with Microsoft for now, so it may be some time before the service manages to expand to the Xbox 360's rival systems.

you get the movie viewer to work with more browsers then just IE, so the rest of the world who has enough IQ to realize that IE sucks and move on to firefox doesn't get stuck using the annoying IE tab and then having to sign in twice? More of an annoyance then anything though.

Netflix charges one set price and you can stream from thousands of movies and get many movies in the mail for the cost of a couple rentals off the Playstation video store. Sony reams the customer in that regard and I hope they go the route of allowing a flat rate like Netflix provides. I personally don't think Sony will allow Netflix on their consoles to compete with their Playstation Video Store. I hope they do though or change there format.
