NeoPop GX - NeoGeo Pocket emulation arrives on Wii |
Ó
Straight from the BountySource community, we hear that a new version of NeoPop GX has received the capability to run on the Wii, and NeoPop GX, as of version 20-06-2008, is now executable on the Nintendo Wii. The NeoGeo Pocket emulator was updated by Askot of the TehSkeen community, though it was originally created by EkeEke of both communities.
Aside from Wii support, NeoPop GX 20-06-2008 also has improved in cosmetic functionality and code, according to Askot's changelog:
- updated to devkitpror15
- added libfat support
- removed sdcard support
- former System Reboot option now separated in PSO/SD/TP reload
- added reboot console option
- added sort file method when selecting file
Take care to course through the bundled documentation (try to run it on a non-Windows native text editor, like NotePad++) to know where to store and load your games and where to store the NEOPOPWI.DOL executable.
