It's good to see that the Naruto games are starting to follow the manga storyline (which has moved way past the filler episode ridden TV show). Naruto's taller now, and can now use the wind element. Sakura's as strong as an OX. And bishie-evil-boy Sasuke now has a nice sword and a new means for using his "chidori."
These scans of Shonen Jump feature images of Naruto and Sakura in combat. Click on the thumbnails to see the details.
The game should be presented to the general (presumably Japanese) public for the first time at the Jump Fiesta 2007 which will be held on December 16th and 17th near Tokyo. The game should hit Japanese retail towards the end the first quarter 2007.

It just might go beyond that point in the manga. If you look at the last pic it looks like Naruto is doing a move he hasn't even perfected in the manga yet!
