Mysterious sequel coming to Wii

Nintendo will soon announce a mystery sequel to a highly successful series. Don't ask how we know it, we just do. We have special abilities... Nah, we're just messing with you because this next one has got us thinking all day long. And we need your help.

We picked all of these from Gamefront. According to the folks there, the latest issue of magazine Nintendo Dream announced that a sequel to a famous series will be announced soon. Unfortunately, they didn't give any information whatsoever. We've translated everything they've got to say regarding the matter:

Nintendo Dream: "Successor of famous series is soon revealed"

Japanese Nintendo Dream it announces in its newest expenditure that soon the successor of a famous series is revealed. With details (e.g. manufacturers) the magazine holds back itself.

Now the million dollar question is "What series are we talking about here?" What do you think, guys? We'll gather all our resources and use our special abilities to sniff out info, and then we'll tell you if we find out anything. So stick around.

Nintendo owns the rights to the Donkey Kong name remember Donkey Kong for the arcade in the 1980s when RARE didnt even exist! Rare just made the DK games under a license but it was Nintendo who owns it.

I'm betting since Mario Galaxy / Mario Kart / Smash Bros are all already in the works, and zelda already came out, I think it will be either Banjo Kazooie, Donkey Kong, or possibly star fox.

the reason i got the 360 is banjo-kazooie. all i have is gears of war and carbon. kazooie is all that matters on the 360 for me. gears of war is also cool.

i remember capcom saying they were going to develop a resident evil for the wii a while ago... but they didnt say if it was going to be re5 or a new title in the series like re gun survivor or something like that... and the creator of mgs also said he was very interested in working for the wii and as far as im concerned these 2 series are really succesful

well they diffently already announce the FIre Emblem sequel Goddess of Dawns and with Pokemon Battle Revolution coming out I doubt it'll be that either. And definitely no chance of Zelda.

But yeah about the Kirby game there was supposed to be one for GC like the last good game but I guess it got canceled or better yet its getting moved to Wii like Super Paper Mario

Kid Icarus came to mind immediately for myself. That is one of the only games that hasnt been made over and over but deserves to be. And Ive never seen it in 3D and they already have a Kid Icarus for the Super Smash Bros Brawl. They could even come out with an attachment to the wiimote that could turn your controller into a bow with a string. how far you pull the string determines how far the arrow will go. in 3D!!!! That would be soo cool.

They have Kid Icarus for NES, and gameboy and it is a long awaited sequel for many nintendo fans.

Common, retro has done the last 3 metorid games (on a consol) and it has been famous (almost made a movie) but their is also others that were probably more famous, but im goin by the ones thay have in smash bros (no im not sayin that they will announce some crazyness on ssb 4) but the characters they had in the first 2. Samus was in both so i dont see why it cant be a possibility
