Mushroom Kingdom Hearts for the Wii? |
Ó
Every game magazine collector knows that if there's a time of the year when you should think critically, it's the day when you grab your April issue of EGM and other popular mags. Once a year, the people behind theses periodicals print either a tip or an article regarding strange stuff in gaming with the absence of one tiny detail: the truth.Of course they have a perfect excuse not to invoke flames from across the web. It's April Fool's silly! Pranks range from baseless rumors, fictitious FAQ's and cruel unlocking "secrets" that often have players spending long hours of fruitless play on a wild goose chase to obtain items which do not exist.
To make the lies even more believable, the perpetrators even include nicely-crafted screenshots to sell the whoppers. Infamous examples include the "Aeris Resurrection trick" for Final Fantasy VII, the "unlockable Akuma trick" for Resident Evil 2, and of course, unlocking Sonic and Tails in Super Smash Bros.
In this year's EGM April issue, there's an article that talks about an upcoming We (spelled this way on the article) exclusive spin-off of Kingdom Hearts called Mushroom Kingdom Hearts which combines the Nintendo and Disney world in one epic RPG. The details, of course, were pretty shady. The only specific was that Square Enix was publishing it, so go figure.

I will admit that the Mario render isn't pathetic, though.

#1. Why would they ruin the Kingdom Hearts, worse than the GBA Version?
#2. Mario looks kinda stupid in the picture, like a Sora Rip off.
#3. Only in the Mushroom Kingdom?
#4. The Title underneath the Game's Title, "The Ultimate Fanboy Pipe Dream".
They made it less obvious than last year's Legend of Zelda April Fool's Joke, which became famous on in the GANNON-BAN rules, when they said 04/01/06 as it's release date. This year they put 2008, but no games has been released up to that time yet.

But I must say that the evidence is strongly in favor if it being a simple prank. I’ve read several opinions, mostly pointing out the statement of “41 Nintendo characters”, both pointing out that you’d be hard-pressed simply NAMING 41 nintendo characters [unless, of course, pokemon were involved in some way] and 4/1 is kinda April first [or April fools]. Also, the title, even while presumably a project title, is kinda hilarious [seriously].
Though that’s not to say I don’t have a positive, hopeful side. Square HAD mentioned that they were planning on spreading their titles more throughout the current-gen systems, making a conscious effort to focus as many of their developments on Sony. I could easily see a Kingdom Hearts game working wonders on the Wii.
In conclusion, IF, by SOME AWESOME WILL OF GOD this were true. Well… *****, that would rock. Seriously. Very hard.
Besides, stranger things have happened [like combining Final Fantasy and Disney in the first place.]

Sorry, Square Enix is all but owned by Playstation. Playstation will all but blatently refuse to give any sort of KH game to Nintendo, and vice versa with Nintendo.
You're all stupid thinking that this is real. Seriously.
April Fools? "41 new characters"
4/1!?
The fact that it's EGM, and they've done this the last... how many years????
Jeeze...

(and also to smart-person...)...

April: 4th month
First Day : 1st

get it?
The Mario does make me think if it is real or not.
But if it was a new kingdom hearts game, they would change sora's outfit.

What were the odds of that happening...?Besides nintendo was the original owner of square, plus nintendo did get K.H.C.O.M.
Im still not saying that this isnt a prank. All im saying is that its very possible for nintendo.
