More stuff we want... Zelda: TP Limited Edition guide |
Ó
Yes, we wants it... the preciousssss...
Alright, wrong book reference, but in any case, that's pretty much how we're doing here in the QJ offices. Seeing d.ballance's photo set of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Limited Edition guidebook has sent some members of the staff rolling on the floor, frothing at the mouth, applying for additional credit cards, and basically just grieving at the fact that we don't have one of these lovely things.
In any case, the guide is hardbound and comes with a pull-out cloth map which shows the Overworld. The beautiful, glossy, full-color pages are gold-trimmed, and nothing mars its pristine cover as it is embellished with the symbol of the Triforce. The guide is currently priced at US$ 29.99. There's still no word on just how helpful this guide is once you actually use it to play through the game, but then again, I don't think we'd mind even if it wasn't.
Have I mentioned that it's pretty and that we really want it? Yeah, I thought so.

I've been really good this year. My kids have been very bad though, so instead of getting them presents, would you please put this in my stocking? Sincerely, CosmosStopper

Hey I live in South Africa and i have a WII :P (although i did import it from australia)
i never touch your daughter
Was I the only one who immediately bolted over to Amazon.com? It's under $20 there, saving over $10. 4-6 wks shipping, but I'm alright with that; it's usually here in less time than that.
From the screens it looks like the guide I bought at EBGames a week ago, but mine didn't have the hard-cover. The art in the book is very pretty, but when it comes down to using it as anything other than a step-by-step walkthrough (say, item hunting after you finish the game, or even to look up information after you've passed a part), it's sort of a joke. There's no poe list, golden bug list, index/table of contents... you get the idea. It tells you were to find them as you read the book every step of the way, but as a reference piece... forget about it.
