More reports that Kid Icarus sequel coming this year |

Rumors have been circulating around that Factor 5 studio is reincarnating Pit of Kid Icarus in a new solo act, away from his fellow video game icons in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.Adding to the flame is IGN editor Matt Casamassina, who remarked in a recent podcast that they "know that the game exists" and that it would "absolutely" be arriving this year.
So far, there has been no official word from Factor 5 or Nintendo as of yet, so for now this is still classified under rumor. Even though we do hope that Pit makes a comeback in his solo career after a long hiatus.
Earlier this month, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime hinted on a big holiday title for the Wii. We can keep our fingers crossed and hope this is the Kid Icarus sequel, but even if it isn't, that just means we have two big games to look forward to.

This had absolutely no appeal to me until it said "Factor 5", and then I started imagining flying around shooting arrows at snake things ala Rogue Squadron ... and I got excited in my pants.
Maybe he could make a good comeback everyone seems to like him in brawl alot so....
I was a big fan of the original, thought it was better than Metroid, its' , at-the-time, only competitor... Scrolling up and up and up... Then I brainstormed an idea of selling a BOW attachment for the wiimote. Kinda like the gun with crossbow trainer with Zelda but rather a BOW that has a string and the farther you pull back, the farther the arrow goes and faster... First person please!!!! like Metroid Prime series!!! Ill will preorder! Please include eggplant wizard and all the funny humor of the original series.. dont ruin it by making it too serious.. I mean it IS KID ICARUS, not ICARUS thanks
