A quick search for Beautiful Katamari on GameFly reveals that the videogame rental company is eyeing an October 30 Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 release date for the game. Oddly, Nintendo's Wii will have Katamari rolling a month later; GameFly lists the Nintendo Wii version's release date as November 30 2007. On the right is a screenshot of GameFly's listing.
As if this wasn't enough, Kotaku informs that OrangeLoungeRadio, the folks who originally alerted us to the supposed existence of Beautiful Katamari, is saying that the "story has been removed by request from Namco Bandai." Of course, this only suggests that OLR was right - remember what happened with PlayStation Home?
We do have to note that the dates listed on GameFly are pretty close to the ones we've previously reported on.
Anyhow, considering all of this, If we're still to consider the Beautiful Katamari as a rumor, then by gosh is this one big red hot inferno of a rumor.
