More details on Soul Calibur: Legends for the Wii |
Ó
While the control system is still being kept under wraps, we do know that the Wiimote and Nunchuck attachment will be used in tandem, and players will be able to use their favorite characters to hack and slash their way through opponents en masse. Details about the story are just as scant, but there's hint of cooperation amongst the characters to "save an empire from destruction."
Overall, this makes a whole lot of sense being the series' next step - and seriously, any of the Soul Calibur characters have as much flair and finesse with their weapons and ascribed fighting styles as a certain smack-talking Son of Sparda. Imagine Talim mowing down baddies with a fifteen-hit combo of her tonfas, or Asteroth clearing an entire crowd with just one swipe of his axe - a third-person adventure would certainly work, if not ROCK.
Updates as they unfold - meanwhile, enjoy the eye candy!

I'm really looking forward to this game!
i just hope nightname and sigfried are 2 different characters, i like it better that way
Hey, here's a thought. Given that (a) this game is exclusive to a Nintendo system, and (b) the Gamecube version of SC2 sold the best, do you think Link will make a return to the series?
