Samus - armor overloadPlay-Nintendo reports that Nintendo held an invite only game session, and during which Metroid Prime 3: Corruption truly shined. Some reports even when as far as saying that the game looks better than Halo 2 on the Xbox.

As for gameplay, the say that corruption takes full advantage of the first-person perspective to immerse you in the action. There's a reported new hyper mode that allows Samus to fill up her phazon supply to a certain point which puts her in to a state of heightened speed and power. Push the phazon limit too far and it will overload the armor and you'll be seeing the game-over screen.

There is also word that Samus' ship will somehow be integrated into the gameplay - something that many a Metroid fan has been eagerly awaiting.

Can't wait for this game. It allready looked amazing but people are constantly saying that the game continues to look better. I think that this game is even going to be better than The legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

I agree The legend of Zelda was great but it looks that this game is going to be the best game of 2007. Any ways do any of you know something about Disaster: Day of Crisis or Project Hammer?

I don't know anything about those games but they sure do look more mature and great. I don't know why but Disaster just looks to become something truly great. Sure do hope so.

"Some reports even when as far as saying that the game looks better than Halo 2 on the Xbox." Even WHEN? typo. And good job comparing a next gen game with a game on the xbox.

I played all the classic games, but i still like the 3d ones better. More challenging and different places to go. It wasnt the greatest for controle unless you locked on to targets. But the 3d ones had more story line to them so it wasnt like you didnt know why you were fighting this bir green booger that was actualy smaller than you when you last saw it. But any ways i like the controls on the wii, like in red steel. Its actualy hard to hit people just like in real life. Cant wait to play metroid prime 3, even if its a demo, like what they did for the ds.
