Miyamoto brings back the familiar: Zelda Wii not be 'radically different'

Zelda Wii concept art - Image 1In the latest edition of Nintendo Power, Nintendo big man Shigeru Miyamoto himself answered the question on whether or not Zelda will to stick to the formula or veer off into an entirely new path. Just how different will Zelda Wii be from the earlier iterations of the franchise?

Said Miyamoto: I don't think it's going to be that radically different." Simple, straight to the point. Therefore, we'll be seeing more of that classic taste so familiar to our tastebuds. And fans will just probably have to wait until the next one before we see any major changes.

For a franchise that's well-known for its long-standing formula, how do you make it evolve without losing your loyal fanbase?

The Twilght Princes WAS NOT A FAN SERVICE.

I want a hardcore Zelda game damn it! With life and sidequests! I don't want a huge open world with nothing to do.
