UK's Trilogy Logistics recently revealed its first partner for their new division TRILOGYi. Just in case you've been living under a rock or gone deep-sea diving for a year, TRILOGYi is a distribution service which is specially suited for the independent video games market. But back to the topic, their first partner is none other than Midway Games.With the deal already signed, TRILOGYi would now have exclusive rights to distribute Eidos titles throughout the UK independent retailers sector. Matthew Allen of Trilogy said that:
we recently announced that we are introducing new philosophies into this sector and including new ways of trading by offering a different approach to the way we will service this sector. Midway has recognised the relevance of a service specifically tailored to the independent sector and we're delighted to have them on board.
Midway is of course popular for games such as the Mortal Kombat series and the BAFTA-winner, Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War. Aside from taking care of the distribution chores, TRILOGYi will be responsible for handling telemarketing, distribution, warehousing, returns and credit control for Midway's whole range of titles to this sector.
