An interview with developer Vicarious Visions surrounding the Wii version of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, information on how the Wii game will differ from the 360 and PS3 versions was revealed. The game will support 480p (Progressive Scan) but not a widescreen mode. So if you have a widescreen TV, you'll have to get used to two black bars on the left and right of the screen. There is currently no support for WiiConnect24 or the Nintendo WiFi Connection. They're thinking of $49.99 as the price point.

The controller is what sets this game apart, of course. Using gestures with the WiiMote, you can pull off your special moves. This is very interesting because the PS3 and Xbox 360 can only have two special powers assigned to buttons at any time. You have to go into a menu and switch out the powers to change what you use. In the Wii version, you have all five super powers equipped at all times. Finishing moves will be done using the WiiMote as well. The camera will be controlled by moving the nunchuck which the developer say is very intuitive.

Obviously, this is shaping up to be a great game. The Wii, 360, and PS3 versions of the game will also have two additional playable characters over the current-gen versions.
