Ó

We just got some info regarding how the Wii controllers will be used for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. If you remember last time, we said that it would make you feel like a hero. Well, here we go!

According to the official Fact Sheet, one of the most important implementations on the Wii is the "Advanced Gesture-based Combat System." Players can chain gestures to create extremely powerful attack combos. Next would be the Motion-Sensing Controls, players can swipe upwards (uppercut, punches, and kicks), left or right (trip attacks), forward (heavy attacks), and shake (quick and light attacks). We imagine that by the end of this game you'd have arms of steel; making you quite a real-life superhero indeed.

We also got some great how to's, artworks, and screenshots! Marvel (pun intended) at all the pictures below.

Hmph..

Games like this are going to be pretty fun to play on the Wii. However, I really wish the Nunchuk controller wasn't bound by a wire to the Wiimote. I understand the use and the practicality of the wire, but then again, I can already see a risk of pulling the two apart by accident while playing a game like this one.

To the Blogger.

Are you Robert Summa, the one who was just fired from Joystiq?

You're an idiot, the sensor only detects Wiimote and Nunchuck movement not fingers, legs and body movement. So don't think that people will do that... ok maybe I will if I'm alone just for fun lol.

Hi Ethan. Sorry I'm not Rob Summa. Thanks for asking though.
