Mark Sheppard headlines the voice-over cast of The Conduit |
Ó
Looks like the Wii's getting a touch of Hollywood. The upcoming shooter, The Conduit, was announced to have a voice-over cast appropriately comprised of names that will be familiar to the sci-fi community.First up is the game's protagonist, Agent Ford, who will be voiced by Mark A. Sheppard. If you're a Battlestar Galactica fan, *spoiler alert* you'd know him as the lawyer guy who got Gaius Baltar cleared when he was tried for treason. (That episode was crazy.)
Also among his credits are roles in 24, CSI, CSI: NY, The Practice, Star Trek: Voyager, Monk, and Firefly. And that's only to name a few.
Agent Ford's boss, John Adams, will be voiced by William Morgan Sheppard, Mark Sheppard's father. He has quite an impressive resume as well. His credits include roles in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Babylon 5, and Kingdom Hospital.
You might also remember him in the Transformers movie as Captain Archibald Witwicky, the great-great-grandfather of the main character, Sam.
The final name in the cast would be really familiar to the generation of fans who belong to the time of Xena: Kevin Sorbo, who played Hercules in The Legendary Journeys. He also played Captain Dylan Hunt in the long-running series, Andromeda.
Don't know about you guys, but I want this game already.
