Mario-Yoshi tandem used by Chinese drink maker

One reader of gaming site Go Nintendo sent in a scanned image of a Chinese beverage packaging that features a rather familiar image: Mario riding Yoshi in Super Mario World. We know you might say that this isn't news, but we really can't help but post the images.

While most of us find this hilarious, we wonder what Nintendo's going to do should it see this. The Chinese beverage maker can argue that Nintendo and the company don't belong to the same business so there's really no competition, but this is blatant copying of intellectual property. Besides, the SNES original just made a come back on Wii's Virtual Console.

Oh, well. Lastly, in case you want to know, the sender of the picture noted that the drink tastes like super sweet artificially flavored coconut juice.

emmm...wonder if they are gonna get away with it....you could argue that the thing he's riding on aint yoshi but its looks a bit too dam close not to be..lol

Easily a *****in easy case to win, trust me. If nintendo ever want some extra income, they can get royalties, OR they can just *****in sue the pants off this company, and get a ***** load of cash.
