Mario Kart Wii - Image 1A lot of Nintendo Wii owners are anxious to get the year 2007 over with so they can get their hands on the upcoming biggie Mario Kart Wii. While we're not sure when this cute speedster will drop, we do have more details to keep all of you drooling.

Nintendo Power recently published an article about Mario Kart Wii and the descriptions from what they've experienced with it are looking very good. Some of these you may have figured out already, but for everyone's sake, we're bringing you the main points of the Nintendo Power write-up as reported by Mario Kart Wii.com:
  • Controls very smoothly
  • Graphics are much more detailed than previous iterations with great water and explosion effects.
  • Sound is brilliant
  • 16 brand new courses along with many previous ones.
  • Exciting new items
  • Performing stunts will earn you a sweet reward (no clarifications to what the reward is)
  • Match-making process is much better with shortened times to get into a match.

this game actually seems fun! I hope the tricks are for speed boosts though.... Oh well. When will we see an F-Zero Wii game?
