What would Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games be if it's held in Beijing, China's capital, and doesn't have a game of table tennis? A new gameplay video has arrived featuring two characters from Sonic's world - Knuckles the fiery echidna and Blaze the cat - duking it out with their paddles.

Judging from the video, the table tennis gameplay is similar, if not identical, to Wii Sports' Tennis, only faster, which incidentally is how it's mostly like in real life. The game's referee is Cream, a rabbit who also hails from the Sonic universe. Toad, the lone character from Mario's universe, is also on hand as an observer.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games will be released this November 6 for the Wii and for the Nintendo DS.
