Ó
March 2007 will be the month of the Turtles. No, this is hardly a conservation effort from animals and wildlife organizations. The turtles we're referring to aren't even real turtles. They're mutated and, well, they thrive in video game form. Yup, we're talking about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And they're back to invade not only the multiplatforms, but the big screen as well.
The game will be out on March 13th for (takes a deep breath): Xbox 360, PS2, PSP, PC, GBA, NDS, GameCube and Wii. Whew. We told you it's a multiplatformer. Anyways, the movie will start rollin' on March 23rd.
In case you aren't aware yet as to what to expect with this new version of them pizza-lovin', sewage-livin' turtles, here's a list of the features. But in case you do know already, well, a little reminder can't hurt.
- Intense Ninja Fighting: Harness the power of Ninjitsu and become a master of combat. Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo are playable and each have unique acrobatic moves, weapons and combat skills, such as Michelangelo's fast nunchuck face slap and Raphael's powerful Sai throw.
- Unique Acrobatic Navigation: The Turtles jump from rooftop to rooftop, scale tall buildings, dive into sewers and race through every corner of the city to confront their enemies.
- Powerful Tag-Team Moves: Together the Turtles can team up to reach locations unattainable alone, or defeat the enemy.
- Diverse Enemies and Bosses: Characters from the movie and the original comic book series – including the Purple Dragon Street Gang and the infamous Foot Clan – and a whole new group of enemies creep out of the shadows to face the Turtles.

The control scheme was designed to fit the other umpteen consoles it'll be on, so the Wii's unique style will be woefully absent. Just look at Avatar and you'll know what I mean. Horrid controls on the Wii.
The Wii needs games designed for it's control scheme, like Elebits and Wii Sports. Those are the ones that are going to be hits. Anything else, I'll simply get it for the best other console that I own and it's ported to.

Is this really going to tax the 360?
