Majesco Entertainment wants everyone to know about its Wild Earth: African Safari - Image 1Through press wire, Wild Earth: African Safari which shipped to North America this April 22. For those who haven't heard of it, this title for the Nintendo Wii is a noble attempt at promoting environmental awareness.

Players take the role of a photojournalist whose role is to take award-winning pictures while exploring Africa's Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you'll encounter over 30 different species of exotic animals such as cheetahs, rhinos, lions, zebras, and more.

Like in real life, creatures in Wild Earth: African Safari have unique attitudes. This is demonstrated by how difficult it is to take pictures of certain animals, and the 11 minigames in the Safari Arcade Game mode where you play as an animal then do gestures with the Wii Remote.

Wild Earth: African Safari also offers a multiplayer component. In this Wii version of the game, you can hook up with three other friends then divide the tasks of driving and taking pictures. To find out how well that works, you'll need to try the game.
