Mad Max game: Bad ass, says Barlog |

Earlier this year, Cory Barlog, originally with the God of War 3 team, announced his plans to work on a Mad Max title alongside the film's original director, George Miller. Since then, however, we've heard next to nothing on this, much to this author's dismay.
It's been over seven months since Barlog's self-imposed media black out and he's finally stuck his head out of the proverbial rabbit hole to report on the progress thus far. "I gotta say, and I know I am totally biased here, but I gotta say that this story – as well as this game – is pretty freaking bad ass!!" he said on his blog.
The script for the game was completed last September and they're now currently in talks with publishers. No word on exactly when production will start, but let's hope it's soon, yeah? I don't want to have to wait until Fallout 4 to get my post-apocalyptic game fix.
Mad Max, the game, will be based on "Mad Max: Fury Road," a new Mad Max movie George Miller was supposed to shoot back in 2003 but had to cancel due to complications rising from the Iraq war.
