While the Balance Board accessory was made for games like Nintendo's Wii Fit, it is by no means the only accessory that players may use for the game. Case in point: Mad Catz Interactive has announced the release of a range of accessories which are also compatible with Wii Fit.

Dubbed the Wii Fit Kit, it consists of four accessories designed to enhance players' experience with the game:
  1. Rechargeable Battery Pack - This plugs into the Wii Balance Board and provides up to 20 hours of gameplay from a single charge. The Battery Pack draws power from the Wii's USB output, which lessens the number of obtrusive wires and removes the need for a separate power pack or expensive batteries.
  2. Travel/Storage Case - This provides ample space for the Wii Fit Balance Board, software and accessories when on the go. It's fashioned from high-quality, weather-resistant materials.
  3. Exercise Mat - This provides protection for the user should the game be played on potentially slippery or hazardous surfaces. The mat features a durable textured surface that improves traction, increases stability and decreases impact during workouts.
  4. Protective Silicone Cover - This also attaches to the Balance Board and protects the unit from outside elements and damage. The silicone it's made from is lightweight, yet durable.
Expect Mad Catz to make the Wii Fit Kit available across Europe this month, and in the United States next month.

» WTF!?!?!?!?!

#'s 2 and 4 seem the most beneficial to me.

I usually hate MadCatz but this look like a winner.
