One of the biggest changes to the latest installment to the Super Smash Bros. franchise is the addition of non-Nintendo characters. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, even long-time Mario rival Sonic the Hedgehog will be joining the brawl.

Also joining the fray is Pit, one of Nintendo's older classical characters from their 1986 game, Kid Icarus. Also in the brawl is Wario, Mario's big-boned antagonist who's been with the cast since 1992.

This new video explores the origins and abilities of Pit, Wario and non-Nintendo newcomers Solid Snake and Sonic the Hedgehog. This is only part 1 of Nintendo's "Challenger Approaching" series and we're already looking forward to the next one.

Since sega died in terms of consoles, Sega and Nintendo started a partnership. konami games acually started on nintendo (Mystical Ninja). The first metal gear was on the nes.
