Despite the fact that Namco Bandai has yet to confirm a release date outside of Japan for Nintendo Wii exclusive Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk, the title is continuously gaining popularity among English-speaking gamers. If you are one of those hopefuls, then you will be glad to know that we managed to learn new details for the combat system that will be employed in Knight of Ratatosk.
Accordingly, it will be using an evolved version of the Flexible Range Linear Motion Battle System. Aside from that, we also learned that the character will still be controlled mainly by the analog stick.
The A button is for attack while the B is for pulling off TP-draining special attacks. Motion control can be used as a shortcut input system for the said special attacks. That's about it for now for Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk.
The game is expected to hit Japanese retail shelves this coming Spring.
