Karous for the Wii dated - Image 1Here's something to look out for come next year if you fancy Wii imports. Japan's Rakuten has confirmed that the Karous vertical shooter developed by Milestone Inc. has been dated for a March 27 release next year. Karous was originally developed for Sega's Dreamcast system, and is widely considered to be the system's last game release.

And it won't be coming to the Wii alone. Based on the translations we're picking up (via Babelfish), Karous will come with two other shooters: Chaos Field and Radilgy.

Chaos Field was originally released in 2005 as an arcade shooter, before eventually being ported to the Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, and GameCube systems. Radilgy is yet another arcade port to the Dreamcast, PlayStation 2 and GameCube.

There were also plans by publisher O~3 Entertainment to release a U.S. port of Radilgy, which was to be renamed Radio Allergy. This plan has since been cancelled. That's all the details we've got at the moment - drop by again as more details materialize.

hm

if this game is in any way based off the anime, it's spelled "Karas" Japanese katakana for that cover is Ka-Ra-Su, so it's most likely Karas instead of "karous"

yep, clarification

the anime is indeed pronounced karasu. but in English it's written as karous, for some reason. even in Milestone Inc's official site for the game, it's karous.
