With the month of September winding down in a few days, we'll be taking a look at what's in store for Japan's Virtual Console pickings for the Wii come October. The region will be picking up several new VC titles in the said month, including Esper Dream for the Famicom (NES) for 600 Wii points (Famicon titles are normally 500) on October 2.

Other classics that will be arriving on October 2 include Bare Knuckle III for the Sega Mega Drive, and Genpei Toumaden for the PC. We also spied Ys I&II for the Turbo Duo system, although its release date is yet to be confirmed. SNK fans may also be delighted to know that SNK's Art of Fighting is in the list - just the game to complement VC's Fatal Fury.

We've provided a list of the other upcoming VC games below - we'll update if any of these will be heading for North America as well.
