After several details have been put into light about the upcoming title for the next Resident Evil franchise, a scan of a Japanese magazine promises to reveal more information on Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and it will be put into print this October 6. What "new info" will be revealed by this magazine, we can only wait. A scan of the magazine can be found at the top. Fellow gamers have been expecting for Capcom to officially announce the details of the game, especially the release dates for each territory. We are really looking forward to that.

Anyway, going back to the details, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, also known as Biohazard: Umbrella Chronicles in Japan, is a single player survival-horror game that will consist of four chapters that will feature two playable characters. Three unlockable characters are also present in the game.

The game will utilize the Wiimote to trigger the over-the-shoulder view and the Nunchuk to fire. Two modes are available: Scenario mode, which will have in-game cutscenes with each chapter revealing new contents which link to Umbrella's status; and Arcade mode, which is like Biohazard 4 Mercenaries mini-game. Weapons and melee attacks are unique to each character. You can find additional weapons in the game but all in all, each character can only carry 2 weapons.

With all these juicy details, we can't wait for new info to surface. We will keep you updated on any information about the game's development and the release date - so stay tuned here at QJ.
